Local Industries
Covering an area of 1,223km2, the Shire of Pingelly is the centre of the grain, sheep, cattle and pig farming 
regions of the state's 'Central South'. The primary crops produced are wheat, barley, oats, canola and lupin.
Other local industries include wineries, yabbie farming, aquaculture, seed cleaning and clover harvesting.
