Police

The Pingelly Police sub-district includes both the Wandering and Pingelly Shires, and has an approximate area of 2,223km² with a population of approximately 2,000.

In conjunction with the Shire, WA Police - The community of Pingelly work very closely with local Police and collaborate on projects including Neighbourhood Watch, the Pingelly Community Gym, Road Wise speed trailer and the Town Safety and Crime Prevention Strategy which was endorsed in 2007. This collaboration has provided many opportunities for change including added security lighting, CCTV cameras and a youth programme. The latest community offering is eWatch which was launched officially in the last week of September 2013.
