Bushfire Safety Awareness Training

What:

This course covers the knowledge required for personnel to provide incident support at
bushfires including bushfire response strategies and suppression.

Course covers:

• Bushfire Characteristics and Behaviour
• Bushfire Safety and Survival
• Suppress Bushfire

Who for:

• BFS Bush Firefighter
• VFRS Probationary Firefighter
• VFES Foundation Firefighter

Duration:

12 Hours

When:

1:  Monday 5th August 2024 8:00am – 4:30pm Shire of Corrigin
    Tuesday 6th August 2024 8:00am – 1:00pm Shire of Corrigin

2:  Tuesday 13th August 2024 8:00am – 4:30pm Shire of Brookton
     Wednesday 14th August 2024 8:00am – 1:00pm Shire of Brookton

3:  Monday 19th August 2024 8:00am – 4:30pm Shire of Pingelly
     Tuesday 20th August 2024 8:00am – 1:00pm Shire of Pingelly

4:  Thursday 29th August 2024 8:00am – 4:30pm Aldersyde Town Site
     Friday 30st August 2024 8:00am – 1:00pm Aldersyde Town Site
