The Shire of Pingelly is calling for expressions of interest from community members to join the Memorial Park Reference Group to help shape the detailed design for the Park.
The Reference Group will include 2 Councillors and up to 6 community volunteers with an active interest in the delivery of the project. The primary role of the Reference Group is to have input into the detailed design of the precinct. These elements are proposed in order to activate the centre of the town, and provide an attraction for both the community and visitors to the town. Representatives will be asked to attend 3 meetings throughout October and November in the first instance.
Where there is more expressions of interest than positions available, members of the Group will be selected based on their interest in the key elements of the proposal, and ideally will represent a diverse demographic.
